About Alexandra
Hi, I’m Ali — a mum, naturopath and yoga teacher based in Merimbula on the beautiful Far South Coast of NSW.
My path into natural health began early in life, first through yoga. I was introduced to the practice as a child growing up in Sydney, but it wasn’t until my late teens that it truly resonated. That led me to India, where I studied at an ashram and immersed myself in traditional yogic teachings. After returning to Australia, I completed further trainings and began teaching — working with individuals, small groups, and larger class settings.
Yoga continues to be an important part of my life — it has an amazing transformative quality, not just on the physical body, but also the spirit and mind. It has shaped and transformed my life in many ways and I feel privileged to witness the transformation it offers in others and to be a part of that journey.
Over time, I felt called to deepen my knowledge beyond movement and mindfulness. Fascinated by the healing power of herbs, natural remedies, and holistic therapies, I began studying naturopathy. After completing my first qualification, I spent several years living in Colombia where I learned from traditional practices in the region and gained a deep appreciation for the wisdom of plant medicine and indigenous healing.
I deeply value furthering my education and most recently, I completed a Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy — no small task while living rurally and raising two young children. I’m deeply passionate about supporting others to return to their own sense of rhythm, balance, and vitality, using a holistic and individualised approach.
When I’m not in clinic or teaching, you’ll usually find me outdoors with my family, exploring the coastline and natural beauty of the Far South Coast.
I look forward to supporting you on your wellness journey.
